Will's birthday was filled with ups and downs, well, mostly ups w/ a really big down. People came, that was great. We ate food, good. Then we sang Happy Birthday, good times. We lit Will's candle...this is where it goes downhill. Will grabbed his candle and burned his hand, so sad. Then he cried, and cried. I fed him a little piece of cake, but he was too scared to touch it himself.
Then we put him in his new kiddie pool, big success, but he didn't want to get out. Surely our guests wanted to see him open his presents, so we had to take screaming child out of kiddie pool. But the crying didn't last long. He enjoyed opening his presents, some of them playing with through a little hole in the wrapping paper. Lastly, he unwrapped his putter. Daddy wanted to practice, but Will wouldn't take it out of his mouth.
All in all we had a great time. Its so hard to believe he's a year old!
